2020 GMC Canyon
Class leading towing and hauling capabilities but seats that might prove small to some. I guess it is a game of what matters most.
You have four trims to choose from. The 2020 Canyon is available in SLE, SLT, All Terrain and Denali. Each trim has different and upgraded features.
What’s new for 2020?
The 2020 Canyon has added some things that you did not see the previous year. Now available with a remote-locking tailgate, forward collision warning and lane departure warning in the All Terrain trim, and Tire Fill Alert feature is standard.
The 2020 seats 2-5 passengers. Something you want to note, the front seats can feel small to larger people. This can become an unforgettable ride. And while there is more in-cab storage when the rear seats are folded, other trucks offer more of it. On the plus side, the Canyon offers a nice interior.
You will get some of the best towing capabilities in the class, with the Canyon. Properly equipped it can tow between 7000 and 7700 pounds, depending on the engine. Add a quiet cabin ride and road manners that feel more car-like than truckish, and you got the 2020 Canyon. And I know I mentioned the small seats, but they are surprisingly comfortable, which can turn that ride into a pleasure after all.
Tech and Safety
Power outlets and Android Auto/Apple CarPlay are standard features in the 2020 Canyon. But if that is not enough for you, add 4G LTE wifi hotspot or upgrade to an 8.0 inch infotainment screen.
As for safety, a new addition is the New Tire Fill Alert. A Rear Seat Reminder and HD Rear vision camera add to the safety features on this truck.
Check out this truck! The little things like, New Tire Fill and power outlets are things you don’t even realize you want, until you need them. If you plan to use this for work, the towing capabilities should win you over. If you can overlook the smaller feeling seats because of the nice interior, this is a good truck to check out.
