NEWSOM ORDERS SHUTDOWN OF INDOOR BUSINESSES
Just when we started to enjoy a meal at our favorite restaurant, Governor Newsom orders shutdown of indoor business, again. We are all familiar with how this will work, right? Take-out only, drive-thru only, and of course as many contactless options as possible.
Governor Newsom said he expects this shut down will be in place for at least three weeks, however it can go longer. The closure is for indoor operations only, while outdoor operations will continue to be allowed. The state has added resources to help enforce closures. These resources are: Alcohol Beverage Control, CalOSHA, the Dept. of Business Oversight, the Dept. of Consumer Affairs, and the California Highway Patrol.
Fresno County is at risk for “elevated disease transmission,” especially in nursing facilities and Avenal State Prison. Yes, you’re right Avenal is Kings County, but some employees live in Fresno and have brought the virus back to the area. Being able to promote outbreaks at those facilities is key to getting Fresno scratched off the list.
Like last time Fresno was shut down, essential businesses remained open, and it will be the same story this time around. Included in those essential businesses are all of our Prieto Automotive stores. That means we will remain open for vehicle service and sales.
Every service is available. Purchasing a vehicle which can still be done at the store, or you can choose to use our online Express Purchase program. If your vehicle needs maintenance, schedule an appointment online or walk-in.
