Veteran’s Mental Health Awareness
Our Veteran’s Mental Health Awareness truck is dedicated to the soldiers who fought for our country and are now in need of care and support. Have you left your mark? Let’s come together to show our love for these great heroes!
Each Mind Matters
Each Mind Matters is California’s mental health movement consisting of millions of individuals and thousands of organizations working to advance mental health. This organization was created to unite all of us who share a vision of improved mental health and equality. Their goal is to amplify the voices of all people who want to put an end to this stigma, creating a community where everyone feels comfortable reaching out for the support they deserve.
Fresno County Veterans Service Office
The Veteran Services Office of Fresno County aims to provide a vital and efficient system of services to veterans, their dependents, and their survivors. They file accurate claims in obtaining benefits / entitlements from the U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Department of Defense (DOD), State and local programs.
Fighting for Those Who Fought for Us
Roughly 20% of veterans who fought in Iraq or Afghanistan suffer from depression or PTSD. We’ve banding together to make it known to the world that our soldiers need help!
To help bring awareness to our heroes in need of love and support, we’ve wrapped a truck from our Sanger Chevrolet Buick GMC location for people to write their feelings on. The truck has been in the annual Veteran’s Day Parade and has been brought to the Veteran Services Office of Fresno County and Fresno State’s ROTC.
